Revery Studio LLC ("Revery," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you visit www.revery.is (the "Site"), contact us, or subscribe to our newsletter. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

• Contact form submissions: name, email address, and the content of your message.

• Newsletter sign-ups: email address (and any additional fields you choose to provide).

• Career and new-business inquiries: when you email hello@revery.is, gigs@revery.is, or newbiz@revery.is, we receive the email content and any attachments you send (e.g., resume, portfolio, brief).

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

• Device and browser data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, screen resolution, language preferences.

• Usage data: pages viewed, referring URL, time spent on pages, clicks, video views, and date/time of access.

• Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 6 below.

2.3 Information from Third Parties

We may receive limited information about you from:

• Embedded video players (e.g., Vimeo) that load content on the Site.

• Analytics providers that help us understand how the Site is used.

• Social media platforms if you interact with us via Instagram, LinkedIn, or Vimeo links.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information (such as Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, precise geolocation, biometric data, health data, or information about race, religion, sexual orientation, or political views) through the Site.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to:

• Respond to inquiries submitted through our contact form or sent to our email addresses.

• Send our newsletter and related communications, if you have subscribed.

• Evaluate career and new-business inquiries.

• Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site and its content.

• Measure traffic and engagement to understand which work resonates with our audience.

• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share personal information only with:

• Service providers that help us operate the Site and our business, including:

  • Framer — website hosting and form processing.

  • Vimeo — video hosting and playback.

  • Google Analytics — Site usage measurement.

  • Cloud hosting, security, and IT support vendors.

• Professional advisors (lawyers, accountants, auditors) under confidentiality obligations.

• Authorities or other parties when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of others.

• Successors in interest in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.

These service providers are contractually limited to using the information solely to perform services for us.

5. Categories of Third Parties Who May Collect PII Through the Site

Consistent with California Business & Professions Code § 22575(b)(6), we disclose that the following categories of third parties may collect personally identifiable information about your online activities through the Site:

• Website hosting and form-processing platforms (Framer).

• Video hosting and playback providers (Vimeo).

• Analytics providers measuring Site traffic and engagement (Google Analytics).

Each of these third parties operates under its own privacy policy.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, measure traffic, and improve the user experience.

Categories of cookies used on the Site:

• Strictly necessary cookies — required for the Site to function (e.g., form submission, security).

• Performance and analytics cookies — help us understand how the Site is used.

• Third-party cookies — set by Vimeo and other embedded content when you interact with that content.

How to control cookies: Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies through their settings. If you disable cookies, parts of the Site may not function correctly. You can also opt out of certain analytics cookies through tools provided by the analytics provider (for example, Google Analytics offers a browser opt-out).

7. "Do Not Track" and Global Privacy Control Signals

Consistent with California Business & Professions Code § 22575(b)(5):

• Most web browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Because there is no consensus on how DNT signals should be honored, we do not currently respond to DNT signals.

• We do recognize the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where required by applicable state law. When a verified GPC signal is received from a visitor located in a U.S. state where GPC is recognized as a valid opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information, we will treat that signal as an opt-out of any such sale or sharing.

8. Your Privacy Rights

8.1 California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you may have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act:

• Right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes for collection, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.

• Right to delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.

• Right to correct inaccurate personal information.

• Right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information.

• We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA. If our practices change, we will update this Policy and provide an opt-out mechanism.

• Right to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not collect sensitive personal information for purposes that would trigger this right.

• Right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@revery.is with the subject line "California Privacy Request." We will verify your identity using information already on file before responding. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, in which case we will require proof of authorization.

If we deny your privacy rights request, you may appeal our decision by replying to our response email with the subject line "Privacy Appeal."

8.2 Oregon Residents (OCPA)

If you are a resident of Oregon, you may have rights under the Oregon Consumer Privacy Act, including the rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of your personal information. You may also have the right to opt out of the processing of your personal information for targeted advertising and profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

To exercise these rights, email hello@revery.is with the subject line "Oregon Privacy Request." We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

If we deny your privacy rights request, you may appeal our decision by replying to our response email with the subject line "Privacy Appeal."

8.3 Other U.S. State Residents

If you are a resident of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Utah, Montana, Iowa, Delaware, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Tennessee, Minnesota, Maryland, Indiana, Kentucky, Rhode Island, or another state with a comprehensive privacy law, you may have rights similar to those described above, including the rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of your personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, and certain profiling.

To exercise these rights, email hello@revery.is with the subject line "State Privacy Request." We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law (generally 45 days, with one possible extension).

If we deny your privacy rights request, you may appeal our decision by replying to our response email with the subject line "Privacy Appeal."

8.4 International Visitors (GDPR)

For visitors located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process personal information based on our legitimate interests, your consent, performance of a contract, or compliance with legal obligations, as applicable. Under applicable law in these regions, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, as well as the right to object to certain processing. 8.5 How to Review or Change Your Information

You can review, correct, or request deletion of personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@revery.is. To unsubscribe from the newsletter, click the "unsubscribe" link in any newsletter email or email us directly.

9. Newsletter

9.1 Subscription and Consent

By subscribing to our newsletter, you consent to receive marketing communications from us. You may withdraw your consent at any time by unsubscribing.

9.2 Newsletter Provider

Our newsletter is sent through [Newsletter Provider Name]. Please review [Newsletter Provider Name]'s privacy policy for information about how they handle your email address and related data.

10. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. • Contact inquiries and form submissions: We generally retain contact inquiries and contact form submissions for up to five (5) years after our last interaction with you, unless a longer retention period is required by law or legitimate business needs.

• Newsletter records: retained until you unsubscribe.

• Career inquiries: retained as needed to evaluate applications and comply with employment law requirements.

13. International Visitors

The Site is operated from the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. By using the Site, you consent to such transfer.

14. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites and platforms (including Vimeo, Instagram, and LinkedIn). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any site you visit.
