Coach x WNBA
Champions of Culture
As the WNBA enters a defining era of cultural momentum and visibility, Coach wanted to do more than just join the conversation. They wanted to help shape it.
As Coach’s strategic and creative partner, we helped define the full vision for this first-of-its-kind collaboration with the WNBA, a multi-year program grounded not in transactional sponsorship, but in storytelling that champions self-expression at every level. Our approach started by working with Coach from the get-go to envision this opportunity not just as a fashion moment, but as a cultural one. We helped articulate the deeper narrative potential of the partnership, positioning Coach as a driver of culture in the WNBA’s growing influence—placing fans and athletes at the center.

The Ask

Coach asked Revery to envision, strategize, and execute a program that would resonate across the 2025 WNBA season, grounded in emotional depth and scale beyond traditional fashion or sport marketing.

Setting the Strategy
Together, we developed a strategic roadmap that extended across content, activations, social engagement, and storytelling opportunities, all stemming from a single, resonate idea: “Championing Courageous Self-Expression.” This idea became the north star for how Coach shows up, not just with the WNBA, but as a champion of the culture that surrounds it.
The Idea
Position Coach not as a sponsor, but as a partner with purpose, a cultural catalyst helping to shape the stories of the WNBA.
From Strategy to Storytelling
We mapped the arc of the partnership and identified key moments that could amplify humanity as the center of storytelling and spark conversation. From there, we helped define and produce the creative expression that brings culture to life, connecting to audiences across sport and style.
Our team created a suite of launch assets that introduced the partnership with energy and intention, including tease content, behind-the-scenes hits for social, and athlete ambassador stills and motion assets.

Each asset ladders up to our strategic framework, centering the individual personality of the athletes and capturing the authentic expression of who they are, both on and off the court. The creative lens borrowed Gen Z’s visual language (recognizable formats like “Get Ready With Me” and big tunnel entrances) but elevated it through a Coach-worthy, luxury fashion brand art direction. Each production thoughtfully balanced the priorities of the Coach, the WNBA, and each athlete and agent teams. Our role was to connect the strategic and creative thread from end-to-end, protecting the integrity of the message while scaling it for reach, nuance, and meaning.
Big Love
This has been a dream project working with a dream team! Revery - Your team is brilliant! - Kimberly Wallengren | Coach | VP Marketing, North America
A Story that Grows with the Season
While the partnership continues to unfold throughout the WNBA season, our strategic guidance ensures that every touchpoint connects back to a deeper narrative. Not just brand awareness, but cultural alignment. This opportunity isn’t about borrowing influence—it’s about building it, leading conversations that amplify self-expression.

Our program has generated early and meaningful attention from major media, including The New York Times, Harper's Bazaar and Ebony, with coverage noting how the partnership reflects a larger shift in how the intersection of women’s sports and fashion are being redefined by a new generation.
We’re thrilled to continue our work with Coach and tell new stories from the lens of their WNBA partnership. Not just collaboration for the sake of collaboration, but a statement of what’s possible when brands move at the speed of culture.
We can’t wait to show you what’s coming up next.
